Robert J. Moser is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Prime Group Holdings (“Prime Group”), a vertically integrated private equity real estate firm specializing in the acquisition, development, management and asset optimization of institutional-quality self-storage and alternative real estate assets. He is a member of the Firm’s Investment and Asset Management Committees.
Mr. Moser began his real estate career in 1997 while attending Union College, where he graduated in 1999. Early in his career, he acquired and aggregated one of the nation’s largest privately held portfolios of manufactured housing communities and RV resorts before founding Prime Group in 2013.
His entrepreneurial vision, data-driven investment strategy, and disciplined investment approach have since guided Prime Group’s evolution into one of the largest private owners and operators of self-storage properties in the world, with a portfolio encompassing more than 320 assets across 28 states, three Canadian provinces, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, representing over 25 million rentable square feet. In addition, Mr. Moser owns a significant portfolio of multifamily assets consisting of tens of thousands of units.
Under Mr. Moser’s leadership, Prime Group has earned numerous industry awards and recognitions and is widely regarded for its differentiated off-market acquisition strategy, AI-driven analytics platform, and direct operating model that aligns closely with its investors. As of September 30, 2025, Prime Group has nearly $7 billion in assets (based on gross asset value) and a broad, diverse institutional investor base that includes sovereign wealth, domestic and foreign pension plans, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, single/multifamily offices and UHNW individuals, including private equity firms and their founders.
Mr. Moser continues to lead Prime Group’s strategic growth across storage, infrastructure, and other complementary real estate sectors, maintaining a focus on long-term value creation, operational excellence, and investor alignment.
Brian oversees Prime Group’s corporate, property and fund accounting functions, as well as its asset management activities. He is a member of the Firm’s Investment, Valuation and Asset Management Committees. Prior to joining Prime Group in 2018, Brian oversaw several teams of accountants at LeverPoint Management, a leading private equity fund administrator. Before that time, he served in various controller positions and established and ran the Luxembourg office for Centerbridge Partners, a global alternative investment manager. Brian also has accounting experience from his time at Fortress Investment Group and Deloitte. He earned a BSBA in Accounting from Rochester Institute of Technology and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
Chris oversees the accounting and financial needs of Prime’s investors, including financial reporting, valuations, capital calls, distributions, capital account statements, and year-end audits. He is a member of the Firm’s Valuation Committee. Prior to joining Prime Group, he was a Senior Manager for Ultimus Leverpoint, responsible for providing accounting and reporting services to his private equity clients. During his 8-year tenure at Ultimus Leverpoint, his role progressed as he was able to build out his team and increase their assets under administration to more than $5 billion. Chris received his MS in Accounting from The College of Saint Rose and a BS in Accounting from Siena University.
Dimitrios Papiris is responsible for asset-level operations of properties owned and managed by Prime Group. Prior to joining the firm, Dimitrios was VP of Operations for Treasure Island Management and spent a decade at Manhattan Mini Storage in roles of increasing responsibility, including VP of Operations and Business Development. Dimitrios attended Hunter College. He was previously a member of the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Self Storage Association.
Jonathan oversees the construction and development function, from routine capital expenditures at the properties to major ground-up development. He is a senior real estate development executive with over 25 years of experience delivering large-scale retail and mixed-use projects across the U.S. and internationally. He has held leadership roles at Westfield, Diriyah Company, and RPT Realty. At Westfield, he managed portfolio-wide tenant space deliveries and major development projects, including the retail component of the World Trade Center, helping reopen this iconic site to the public. He later played a key role at Diriyah Company, a $64 billion giga-project in Saudi Arabia, where he led the strategy and development of more than 2 million square feet of retail as part of one of the world’s most ambitious urban regeneration efforts. At RPT Realty, a $2 billion REIT, he served as Senior Vice President, overseeing development, design, and construction across a national portfolio. Jonathan brings deep expertise in project creation, development and construction delivery, and national operations. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology.
Eric leads and oversees the company’s Legal and Compliance Departments and also supports corporate development efforts. Eric is a seasoned legal expert with over 25 years of experience including corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, securities laws, compliance, commercial agreements and intellectual property management. Prior to joining Prime Group, he was Counsel at McDermott Will & Emery and Reed Smith. Previously, Eric was General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer at A360 Media. His prior professional experience also includes the position of General Counsel at Prestige Brands Holdings and Associate positions at Kaye Scholer and White & Case. Eric holds a J.D., cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law and a B.A., magna cum laude, in Economics and Asian Studies from Tufts University. Eric is licensed and admitted to the practice of law in the State of New York.
Stacey is responsible for leading the Human Resources division of Prime Group and implementing the firm’s human capital strategy, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, and talent management. Stacey has over 25 years of institutional experience in all aspects of the human resources function. Prior to joining Prime Group, she was Senior Human Resources Director for ExodusPoint Capital Management. Stacey also held senior human resources positions at Clarion Events, Thesys Technologies, CRT Capital, Point 72 Asset Management and RBS Greenwich Capital (now part of NatWest Group). She holds a MS in Human Resources and Employment Relations from Penn State University and a BS in Human Resource Management from Western Governors University.
Ilan leads the company’s technology strategy and innovation efforts. With over two decades of experience in IT and digital transformation, Ilan specializes in leveraging data, automation, and cutting-edge infrastructure to drive operational efficiency and business growth. Prior to joining Prime Group, Ilan held senior technology leadership roles across multiple industries, consistently delivering scalable solutions that align with corporate vision and objectives. Ilan is passionate about building agile, forward-thinking tech environments that support long-term value creation.
Grant develops and executes strategic initiatives and leads key projects that expand business offerings. He is a member of the Firm’s Valuation and Asset Management Committees. He has 20 years of experience as an executive managing private investment capital in real estate special situations, including both equity and debt. Prior to joining Prime Group, Grant was the head of Northern Trust’s wealth management banking practice for the Northeast United States. He has an extensive credit and relationship management background. Grant earned a BA from Northwestern University.
James develops and executes strategic initiatives and leads key projects that expand business offerings. He is a member of the Firm’s Valuation and Asset Management Committees. He joined Prime Group from Northern Trust, where he held various roles in investment management and relationship management overseeing private investment capital for UHNW, family offices and institutional investors. He previously worked at AllianceBernstein, managing global equity portfolios for institutional clients. James has over 20 years of investment management experience, earned an MBA from Pace University and a BS from UAlbany. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
David coordinates the closings of all property acquisitions and refinancings, and serves as a liaison with all lenders. He is a member of the Firm’s Investment Committee. David has over 20 years of real estate industry experience, having joined a predecessor organization to Prime Group in 2003. He attended Siena College.
Ariel oversees Prime Group’s capital formation activities for its investment vehicles. Prior to joining Prime Group in 2026, Ariel served in leadership capital markets positions in several real estate and infrastructure investment firms including CIM Group, Captona, and Azrieli Group. In these roles, Ariel oversaw structuring and raising capital for real estate, data center, and infrastructure commingled Funds, SMAs and Co-Investments. Ariel started his career as a commercial real estate banker in Credit Suisse’s Real Estate Finance and Securitization Group. He earned a BA in Economics from Columbia University and an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from the Wharton School in the University of Pennsylvania.
Alison is responsible for investor relations, including leading client engagement, building relationships with new and existing investors and further driving business development efforts. Prior to joining Prime Group, Alison was Director of Investor Relations at Phoenix Realty Group, a real estate firm focused on multifamily acquisitions and development, where she led an investor relations and business development team. Previous experience includes senior investor relations, marketing, and business development roles at various real estate, private equity, hedge fund, and private credit platforms. Alison received an MBA from the University of Richmond and a BA from The College of William and Mary.
Jurgen assists the CEO and other senior leadership members in efforts to deliver corporate initiatives in both strategic and operational elements of the firm. He actively participates in helping to shape the growth and success of PGH and works within many verticals of PGH. Prior to joining PGH, Jurgen held roles at the Drug Enforcement Agency and Goldman Sachs & Co. He holds a BA, with Honors, in Economics from Union College.
